""I visited the Tarka Valley Railway back in April when they had their naming ceremony for their new passenger train consist. I came all the way up from Brighton and had biked from Bideford along the Tarka Trail, and coming to a railway line at the end of it near Torrington was an immensely charming sight. It was an eventful day, and every single one of the volunteers I met were incredibly kind and open. They kindly answered all my questions regarding their project and their goals and told me about what they hope to achieve in the coming years for the railway. This is a beautiful heritage railway that while still in it's infancy is nestled in the true heart of North Devon and soon will be taking passengers along the trail to the beautiful destinations it has to offer. I shall definitely be visiting again in the near future. A special thank you to volunteer Bradley Lambert and all the other volunteers for their warm welcomeness and hospitality.""
