Shebbear Community School Visit

We were delighted to host our first educational visit with pupils and teachers from Shebbear Community School on 29th June. We provided several small lessons alongside hands on fun to help the students boost their knowledge of local history and to aid with the fulfilment of their Key Stage One (KS1) History of Transport Past and Present curriculum.

We provided several experiences during their visit such as showing how trains have changed over the years and the various equipment used throughout the ages which they were able to experience first hand. They especially enjoyed trying out the different types of seats in our BR Class 143 and BR MK1 TSO and had several discussions to decide which were the most comfortable!
